Bee-Block Course

The training offer addresses itself primarily to students of the biology, which the study goal Bachelor and higher teaching profession aim at, agrarian biology, agrarian sciences in addition, the nourishing and food sciences.

Remarkably: The so-called " Bienenblock" meanwhile one of the most in demand training meetings is with the agrarian and scientists in Hohenheim!

Each summer semester the Apicultural State Institute offers a 3,5-week "bee-block course", in which the studying an intensive introduction to bee biology and beekeeping received and at current attempts with bees and bee products cooperate actively. During the regularly accomplished anonymous evaluations by the students our course in the absolute top group ranks. This shows up also in the interest in the bee course: The bee block 2010, actually for 20 participants meant, is already now overful with 50 prospective customers. We will probably offer the first time a parallel course, in order not to have to reject the many interested students. The promotion of young people, which is successfully converted in the meantime with many beekeeper associations, functions thus also at the academic new generation. In view of the many current problems this for the future of the beekeeping and bee customer are a really positive signal!
